Biography on Jackie French: Jackie  was born in Sydney 1953 grew up in Brisbane and now lives in NSW with her husband. Her first book was Rainstones which was published in 1991. She has been writing for more than 14yrs. She has written 106 books so far (when checked last time) and 8 Genres. Her books are translated in 9 languages. She has Wombats, Chickens, Wallabies, Possums and Echidnas for pets and her hobby is to do gardening.
